The Story of Our Apples
Apples have been grown for thousands of years, with origins in the mountains of Central Asia. Today, they are one of the most popular and beloved fruits in the world, known for their delicious taste, crisp texture, and health benefits.
At Verger Belliveau Orchard, we grow more than twenty different varieties of apples, from heirloom favorites to newer varieties like the Honey Crisp, which thrives in our unique Maritime climate.
Over time, apple growing has evolved. Our orchard has shifted from tall, free-standing trees to more modern, high-density dwarf trees supported by trellis systems, much like those used in vineyards.
We combine innovative farming techniques with the natural power of the land, pollinators, and hard work to produce apples of the highest quality.
